A critical player in the campaign development process, the Creative Production/Traffic Manager is a detail-oriented, highly organized, and fast-paced process expert who thrives on finding ways to say “Yes, we can!” This person is deeply familiar with traditional and evolving creative agency roles, interdepartmental team responsibilities, required documentation and how it all comes together to get great work done!

This person drives the creative project life cycle from creative development—to production design and final campaign asset delivery while being the ultimate team player. On a daily basis they will determine, track and report on key project components to ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget and within scope. Additionally, the Creative Production Manager will be responsible for integrating and managing MORE’S internal creative processes with external production resources and workflows.

Knowledge of digital creative production processes, digital marketing practices, as well as print production is a must. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign highly preferred. Working knowledge of WordPress is a plus. An understanding of creative project management software tools e.g., FunctionPoint, Slack, Basecamp, etc. is a must.

Duties:

Creative Department

  • Manage projects from concept hand-off, to project execution and media launch
  • Create, assign and manage daily/weekly creative assignments and load-level projects across the extended creative team
  • Manage cost estimates and all ongoing communication with outside production partners and freelance creative resources.
  • Create and maintain library of approved vendors and media specs
  • Maintain file server organization and file organization compliance (Dropbox/Sharepoint)
  • Proofing of deliverables to confirm edits, translations, and other light design errors
  • Working closely with MORE’s Project Managers to help communicate and facilitate tasks/projects with freelancers.
  • Onboarding new hires and freelancers with regards to internal creative development processes.
  • Review final assets meet vendor production requirements
  • Ability to open and check InDesign files for size and printing specs

Project-Based

  • Communicate in a timely manner with account, creative and external production teams through SaaS workflow tools
  • Traffic Management: Run weekly and daily status monitoring meetings to check tasks/ projects
  • Confirm all key dependencies to be provided by Account team are ready prior to kick-off meeting – departmental/task specific
  • Review tracked time on Tasks/Projects and monitor timesheets for all Creative (designers/copywriters) for billable hours
  • Approve Task due dates with the Account Team to ensure adequate time is allotted.
  • Meet work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, identifying work process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, advertising, and/or public relations, within an agency or design environment.
  • An understanding of the creative process and experience in creative project management or production management.
  • Demonstrated interest in social issues such as health, education, equity, and the missions of non-profits and/or corporate foundations and socially responsible companies
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills a must
  • Participation with/on non-profit boards, or volunteer experience a plus
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Preference to be living within the New England area and able to come into office into our Watertown, MA office a couple of times a month. Can be flexible.
